very nice! I think blogs and sites like this in general really give insight into the real work that goes on behind the scenes of every book that hits the shelf... or not.

It's a great resource for designers, editors, sales people and anyone in publishing could gain a lot of insight into how it works from the designers end.

One of the things that is always a mystery I feel is that someone actually does this stuff and goes through a fairly elaborate process of reading manuscripts, doing extensive research, sketching, comping etc—all that, so that at some point it's a book on the shelf that is hopefully not buried in the mess of other books. That it actually speaks to it's intended audience and stands out. It's really quite magical—and this site sheds light on that... so congrats again.
